What us have been did...
DHEJEMKE (day-jem-kay) established in March 2022, is a Funk/Soul/Jazz/Fusion Band from Grand Forks, ND. Started by Matt Fowler (drums) Keaton Will (keys/vocals) with an ever evolving cast of musicians called upon to play! Really started out of a love for conversational music, Dhejemke is just a spell correction when they were trying to name the band over text. With a little bit of "ehh, screw it" in mind, the band fuses RnB/Soul with Jazz/Funk, adding elements of Punk. - As a band, they've touched 9 states, playing in 6 of them. Their first out of state trek was a road trip from ND->SD->CO, busking in DT Rapid City/Denver 6th St Mall. They faced a tire exploding in the middle of the night just north of Fort Collins, searching wreck yards for a much needed rim. Gathering lots of song material worthy experience, they bring some funny/serious moments to the stage that will make you laugh and cry, then cry and laugh :)
